More about me:
When a young person is struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, or illness, it can impact nearly every aspect of life—sleep, friendships, family routines, school, work, and emotional well-being. I’m deeply committed to helping young people and their families navigate these challenges with support, skill, and hope. Whether a young person is adjusting to a medical diagnosis, missing school due to symptoms, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed, counseling can help them re-engage with daily life, return to activities they enjoy, and feel more in control of their thoughts and emotions.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hillsdale College. Over the past five years, I’ve worked at Boston Children’s Hospital in a chronic pain and illness clinic, supporting young people and their parents as they manage the emotional, social, and physical impacts of health conditions. I also bring experience from school and community-based settings, where I’ve worked with children and families to build resilience in the face of complex stressors.
In counseling, I help young people develop tools to manage symptoms, regulate emotions, and feel more confident in their daily lives. At the same time, I partner with parents—offering coaching, psychoeducation, and support so they can respond effectively to their child’s needs and feel more equipped at home. I’m also available to collaborate with schools and medical providers to share helpful strategies and ensure we’re working toward the same goals. My approach is compassionate, practical, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based practices while tailoring counseling to each client’s developmental stage, personality, and goals.
I believe healing and growth are possible—even when life feels uncertain or overwhelming. My work is grounded in the belief that young people are incredibly resilient, especially when they feel understood and supported. It’s a privilege to walk alongside families in the hard moments and help them move toward greater confidence, connection, and well-being.

My work is informed by a distinctly Christian view of suffering and healing. I believe God meets us in our pain and walks with us through it. While full restoration may not always come this side of eternity, we rest in the hope that one day all hurts will be fully healed. I see each person as a whole being—body, mind, and soul—and believe that healing tends to involve all three. My own life has included physical and emotional pain; my experiences shape the empathy and hope I strive to bring into the counseling room.
In my opinion, counseling at its best not only provides practical tools for change but also creates space for resilience to grow, for meaning to be found, and for hope to take root. Whether you’re a parent looking for guidance or a teen or young adult trying to cope with what feels like too much, I would be honored to support you. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure this out on your own.
I grew up in the North Dallas area and recently returned to the great state of Texas after over a decade away. Outside of work, you can find me going on walks in nature, doing Pilates, exploring new places, listening to a good podcast, or cooking with—aka “for”—my husband (he tries to help). I value time with family and friends, good conversations, rest, and time in nature. My ideal day begins with a slow morning that includes avocado toast (yep, I’m one of those people), a steaming cup of coffee, sunlight on my face, and peaceful reflection on the day ahead. I asked my family for help with some “fun facts” for this bio—they think I’m interesting for the following reasons: I was married in both the U.S. and India (to the same guy), I graduated high school when I was 16 (because who wants to wait any longer), I have a titanium disc in my spine, and I make “the best apple pie in Texas.”
